In Florida, recipients of a jury summons are selected differently depending on if it is a local, state, or federal court doing the selecting. Many believe that all jury summons are selected from the voter registration rolls. However, only federal courts randomly select names from the certified list of registered voters obtained from the Florida Secretary of State.
